After application, your Gyeon ceramic coating needs time to fully harden and bond with your paint surface. During this critical curing period:
• Do not wash the vehicle for at least 7 days
• Do not park under trees or in areas with heavy bird activity
• Avoid driving in rain if possible for the first 48 hours
• Do not apply any other products, sprays, or quickdetailers to the coated surface
• If the vehicle gets dirty, a quick rinse with cleanwater and a pat dry with a clean microfibre is acceptable after 48 hours

Ceramic coating makes washing easier, but it does not make technique irrelevant. The wrong washing method canstill introduce swirl marks and micro-scratches, even on a coated surface.
This is the only acceptable hand wash method for a ceramic coated luxury vehicle:
• Bucket 1 (Wash): Fill with clean water and apH-neutral car shampoo. Gyeon Q2M Bathe is the ideal choice as it is formulated to work with Gyeon coatings without degrading the hydrophobic layer.
• Bucket 2 (Rinse): Fill with clean water only. After each pass with your wash mitt, rinse it in this bucket to release dirt particles before reloading with soapy water.
• Grit guards: Place a grit guard at the bottom ofeach bucket to trap particles below the water line.
• Wash mitt: Use a high-quality microfibre washmitt. Never use sponges, brushes, or household cloths.
Before touching the paint with amitt, always pre-rinse the vehicle with a pressure washer or hose to removeloose dirt and debris. Follow with a snow foam application, allow it to dwellfor 3 to 5 minutes, then rinse again. This pre-wash lifts and removes the majority of contaminants without any physical contact, dramatically reducing the risk of scratching.
