Finish: Satin or matte.Stealth changes the visual character of your vehicle, converting gloss paint toa satin finish that looks like a factory matte option. The effect is dramaticand premium.

The core protective technologyis identical. Both films offer the same self-healing properties, the sameimpact protection, the same chemical resistance, and the same 10-year warranty.The only difference is the finish.
Ultimate Plus preserves yourexisting gloss finish. Stealth converts your gloss finish to satin. That is theentire decision.
However, there are practicalconsiderations that affect your choice:
• Reversibility: Stealth gives you a matte lookthat is completely reversible. Remove the film, and your original gloss paintis underneath, untouched. A factory matte paint job is permanent and extremelyexpensive to maintain if damaged.
• Maintenance: Stealth actually hides dust,fingerprints, and light water spots better than gloss film. Many owners findthat satin-finished vehicles look cleaner for longer between washes.
• Ceramic coating compatibility: Both films acceptceramic coating beautifully. Gyeon ceramic coating over Ultimate Plus enhancesthe gloss. Over Stealth, it maintains the satin finish while adding hydrophobicprotection. We use Gyeon Q2 MOHS or Syncro EVO over both films at Executive Details.

Q:Will XPEL Stealth make my car look like a vinyl wrap?
A: No. Stealth produces arefined satin finish that looks like factory matte paint. It does not have thetexture or artificial sheen of vinyl wraps. The quality difference isimmediately apparent.
Q:Can I apply ceramic coating over XPEL Stealth?
A: Absolutely. Gyeon ceramiccoating applied over Stealth enhances the satin finish and adds hydrophobicproperties without adding gloss. The coating will not make Stealth shiny.
Q:How do I wash a car with XPEL Stealth?
A: The same way you washUltimate Plus or any protected vehicle. Hand wash with pH-neutral shampoo usingthe two-bucket method. Avoid automatic brush washes. Stealth is actually easierto maintain than factory matte paint, which is notoriously difficult to keepclean.
